The Climate Change Convention established a process for conducting business that advanced nations including Japan and European nations are actively adopting in an effort to reduce greenhouse gases.
In response to the Convention, LGI is exploring the new business of clean development mechanism (CDM), to striving to provide environment-friendly clean technologies. We also secure resources through investment in facilities, registering CDM projects, monitoring CERs, and trading carbon credits.
In the 21st century, for new business countering the Climate Change Convention, we can form a consortium of capital and technology, thereby reducing greenhouse gases, and
participating in the prevention of global warming. This will enhance enterprises’ environment-friendly image. With our extensive experience and outstanding technologies in the fields of energy, plant, petrochemical, metal, and IT projects, we are able to develop CDM businesses, especially those concerned with improving energy efficiency and using new and renewable energy, and to actively work towards reducing greenhouse gases.
We vow to use all our capabilities, including global networking, project organization and of the gathering of information on international affairs and laws, as we strive to mange CDM business risks and to formulate strategies of trading carbon emission rights.
